Joe Hill’s NOS 4R2 Get’s An Awesome Cover For The UK Version

Earlier this year we showed you the cover for Joe Hill’s next book NOS4A2.  You will note that the U.K. version changes the name to NOS 4R2 which is slightly different than the U.S. version.  Joe Hill explained this was due to the way it’s pronounced differently in the two regions.

The story stars a vicious country rube named Charlie Manx who just happens to be 140 years old.  Joe describes Charlie as “a very bad man with a very bad car. Bad things happen to the children who get in the car with him. These children wind up being driven to a place called Christmas Land, and if Disney Land is the happiest place on Earth, Christmas Land is the unhappiest place NOT on Earth. It’s partially about people who have unnatural powers that they derive from vehicles.”

Taking full advantage of his massive comic book following there will also be a comic book tie-in with the release of NOS4A2.  Joe says, “In the comic book which goes with it there’s also this place Christmas Land, this sort of unsettling terrible place, which we explore in the book but only a little, and I thought there’s a lot of stories that I could tell about Christmas Land.”
